A founding member of Itzal aktiboa, Iñaki Olazabal produces sculptures in zinc on which he applies acids that leave traces sometimesreminiscent of writing, sometimes of the effect of rain trickling over rocks.
Born in 1959 in Andoain, he lives and works in Zumaia, Gipuzkoa. He embarked on his career as a sculptor in the early 1980s as a member of the Sorabilla Collective in Gipuzkoa and continued his studies in Düsseldorf, Germany.
His sculptures are witnesses to the industrial character of the environment in which he lives and the rich sculptural heritage of Euskal Herria.
Exhibition open daily from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
