Introducing art to children through play

One of the principal objectives of our association is to introduce children to the process of artistic creation. In our current exhibition of paintings by Christine Etchevers, as in all our exhibitions, we are organising visits for school groups.

These visits give the children the opportunity to enter an exhibition space, to get to know different styles and methods of artistic expression, to meet artists and to express themselves through their own creativity.

The artist explains her work and the techniques that she uses. A questionnaire specially conceived for the children invites them to look more closely at the paintings by posing simple and amusing questions for them to answer. The artist then invites the children to work with her on their own artistic creations.
