Hirugarren aldikotz, Nautilus Lanzarotek Itzal Aktiboa elkartearekin bat egiten du, artista gazteen sustatzeko eta laguntzeko.
Nautilus Lanzarote has joined Itzal aktiboa to support and encourage young artists by awarding the Nautilus Lanzarote Prize to MarÃa Jimenez Moreno, one of five finalists in the competition for this year's Itzal aktiboa contemporary art prize.
Maria won the prize for her "Objetuario (TaxonomÃa ilustrada)", a graphic project inspired by the illustrations created by 18th and 19th century scientists and explorers to study and catalogue natural species. The coloured illustrations that make up this project are on show in GazteArtea Garazin, an exhibition in Saint Jean Pied de Port from October 3 to November 1.
Nautilus Lanzarote runs a hotel complex in Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands. It pays particular attention to access for handicapped clients and to safeguarding the environment and one of its leading characteristics is its promotion in its installations of contemporary art.
The Nautilus Lanzarote prize consists of a seven-night stay for two people in the hotel during a period in May-June 2016.
