Escape from the Fort of Ezkaba

Talk by Fermín Ezkieta Yaben, author of the book "Escape from the Fort of Ezkaba", which relates the story of the attempted escape by 795 Republican prisoners from the Fort of Ezkaba / San Cristobal in 1938.

This event will coincide with the closing of the exhibition GazteArtea Auritzen, which has been extended for one week until 2 November. The exhibition shows works by 8 young artists, including an installation by Laura Delgado Guillén, from Zuriain (Nafarroa), "75 años en la memoria" ("75 years in memory") dedicated to the memory of 220 prisoners who were assassinated during or after the event.
