Born in Zaragoza in 1944, Felix Anaut is one of the founding members of Itzal aktiboa. Here, he presents a selection of paintings made over the past 20 years.
Anaut studied art at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, and then at the Montparnasse School of Art and Design in Paris in 1978-1979. He has lived and worked in England and Ireland, and currently divides his time between southwestern France and Spain.
After a series of paintings devoted to the human body, he turned in recent years to the visual interpretation of music, inspired by the composers of the Baroque period. His works can be found in numerous public and private collections.
