Irma Azpitarte Mandiola

Irma Azpitarte Mandiola has degrees in Psychology and in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country. She lives in a farm high on the hillside near Markina, in Bizkaia. Her artworks revolve around the tension created by the confrontation between familiar objects, such as a jug, a plate or a milk churn, and the lyrical motifs that decorate them expounding the theme of homosexual love.
