Miren Laxague

Miren Laxague (Saint Palais, 1979) studied Fine Art in Pau and Nantes, and she lives and works in Anglet. Using watercolours, acrylics and collage, she focuses on the theme of feminine psychology. Here, she is exhibiting a series of self-portraits and a painting inspired by the Shakespearian figure of Ophelia who became a mythical emblem for French Romantic poets including Rimbaud.
