Iñaki Olazabal
He began his artistic career in 1983 as a member of the Sorabilla Workshop in Andoain (Gipuzkoa).
He participated in various courses at Arteleku - San Sebastian 1986 - 1990. He studied at Kunstakademie Dússeldorf - Germany 1991-1993.
He has exhibited in Koldo Mitxelena in Donostia (Gipuzkoa), the Museum of Guéthary (Lapurdi), the Museum of Bayonne (Lapurdi), the KUBO Kursaal Hall, various editions of ARCO with art galleries such as Moises Perez de Albeniz in Madrid (Spain), Carreras Mujica in Bilbo (Bizkaia) and numerous public and private spaces in Euskal Herria, Spain, Germany and France.
He has carried out sculptural projects such as that for the Oria River in Gipuzkoa, consisting of a set of 7 sculptures in locations from the source of the river to its to its mouth: in Zegama, Ordizia, Ikaztegieta, Tolosa, Andoain, Zubieta and Orio (Gipuzkoa).
He has work in the collections of ARTIUM, Diputacion de Gipuzkoa, Diputacion de Alicante, Juntas Generales de Gipuzkoa, KUTXA, Beatrix Enea de Angelu Museum, in the municipal collections of Alcobendas, Andoain, Vitoria, Zumaia, Ordizia,lementazubi Museum, in the collections of Nautilus-Lanzarote, Itzal Aktiboa (Donibane Garazi), Fundacion Ignacio Zuloaga 100 years Santiago Etxea (Zumaia), Berta Belaza (Bilbo), La Minoterie Nayart (Pau, Pyrénées Atlantiques), and in numerous other private collections in Euskal Herria, Spain, Germany, France, Switzerland.
